Electroporation for targeted ablation of tumors

CTE faculty members Drs. Verbridge and Davalos are currently working to understand cell-specific responses to High Frequency Irreversible Electroporation (HFIRE) pulses, in order to... Read More

Microfluidic liver chips

Drs. Rajagopalan and Davalos are seeking to build and culture a miniaturized version of the in vitro 3D liver mimic within a microfluidic chip. The microfluidic liver mimic will be a complete dynamic 3D liver model on chip that will enable metabolic monitoring for hepatotoxic assays. This liver-on-chip will facilitate the characterization and quantification of liver response to different oxygen and drug concentrations dynamically and at a high temporal resolution.
